Mariela Rivas Dipre
Veterinary Assistant
Mariela joined us in 2020 as a vet assistant. Mariela was born in the Dominican Republic and lived in Colombia for more than 10 years. She graduated with a DVM degree in 2016 from the Universidad de La Salle in Bogota, Colombia and worked as a veterinarian for four years in different countries in Latin America. Her DVM degree is not yet valid in the United States, so Mariela is working to earn her Veterinary Technician degree, and eventually validate her DVM degree to specialize in Small Animal Internal Medicine and surgery.
In the summer of 2023, Mariela completed the veterinary technology program and has successfully become licensed in North Carolina as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
