Susan Bray, RVT

Susan likes to say she’s not from anywhere (being a Navy brat and moving all over the world) but is happy to now call Raleigh home. After a master’s degree and many years in corporate communications, she followed her passion and went back to school to become an RVT and graduated in 2017. Though new to the field, she has fostered hundreds of dogs and cats for the Wake County Shelter, helped with Operation Catnip’s spay and neuter clinics, rehabbed turtles for the vet school’s Turtle Rescue Team, and been a Cat Matchmaker for the SPCA. Her husband, Jim, is a very patient man!! She also has two grown sons, a daughter-in-love, and a granddaughter who share her love for animals.
